Between the dates of 4 – 7 June 2024 Turkish Machinery organized a technical trade delegation to Chemnitz / Germany with 11 delegates representing 8 companies. The four day event was a great success thanks to close cooperation between Turkish Machinery, Fraunhofer IWU, Saxony Trade & Invest and VEMASinnovativ representatives. 

Turkish delegates had the opportunity to meet with representatives of leading institutions, organizations and companies in the German machinery sector during the organization.  They held talks about possible cooperation opportunities, reviewed R&D and Product-Development projects for innovative technologies in the machinery sector and had the opportunity to see good practice examples.
 

Turkish delegates participated in the 5th Turkish-Saxon Cooperation Forum held at Fraunhofer IWU campus. Nevzat Sargin from Turkish Machinery Germany office made a presentation to introduce Turkish machinery sector and after that, Turkish delegates made their own presentations to introduce their companies in detail. During networking sessions Turkish and German representatives had a chance to meet in person to further discuss cooperation opportunities. 
 

Fraunhofer IWU campus, Chemnitz Technical University Mechanical Engineering R&D center, SITEC factory, Niles-Simmons factory and Volkswagen factory were visited during the four day organization. Exemplary good practice experiences were shared between Turkish and German counterparts about digitalization, automation, innovative new technologies and industry 4.0 applications during the delegation program.
